Advertising Policy

1. Purpose
This Advertising Policy establishes the rules governing advertising content submitted to The Internet Throne.
By submitting a company name, logo, banner, tagline, website or other advertising material, the advertiser agrees to comply with this Policy and the Terms & Conditions of the platform.
2. Advertiser responsibility
Advertisers are solely responsible for ensuring that the materials they submit are accurate, lawful and suitable for public display.
Advertisers must have all necessary rights, authorisations, licences and permissions to use the names, trademarks, logos, images, text and other materials they submit.
3. Prohibited advertising
Advertising must not promote, facilitate or contain content that is unlawful or otherwise prohibited by applicable law or this Policy.
Prohibited content may include:
- Illegal products, services or activities.
- Fraudulent, deceptive or materially misleading claims.
- Malware, phishing, scams or malicious websites.
- Counterfeit goods or infringement of intellectual property rights.
- Content that unlawfully promotes violence, hatred or discrimination.
- Sexually explicit or pornographic content.
- Exploitation or sexualisation of minors.
- Illegal drugs or unlawful controlled substances.
- Unlawful weapons or other prohibited products.
- Other content prohibited by applicable law.
4. Restricted industries
Certain industries, products or services may be subject to additional restrictions or verification requirements.
These may include financial products, gambling, alcohol, tobacco or nicotine products, healthcare, medicines, political advertising, cryptocurrency and other regulated sectors.
The Internet Throne may reject or require additional verification for advertising in regulated categories.
5. Misleading content
Advertisements must not make false or materially misleading statements regarding a business, product, service, price, promotion or opportunity.
Advertisers must not impersonate another person, organisation or brand.
6. Intellectual property
Advertising must not infringe copyrights, trademarks, trade names, image rights or other intellectual property rights belonging to third parties.
The Internet Throne may remove advertising following a credible infringement complaint or where infringement is otherwise reasonably suspected.
7. Destination websites
Links submitted by advertisers must lead to functioning websites reasonably consistent with the advertisement displayed on The Internet Throne.
Destination websites must not contain malicious software, phishing mechanisms, deceptive redirects or other content that may place visitors at unreasonable risk.
8. Banner and logo requirements
Advertising materials must be of sufficient quality for display and must comply with the technical specifications indicated by the platform.
Recommended formats
Logo: 800 × 800 px, square, PNG or WebP.
King Banner: 1920 × 640 px, 3:1, PNG, JPG or WebP.
9. Review and moderation
The Internet Throne reserves the right to review submitted advertising before or after publication.
Advertising may be rejected, suspended or removed where it violates this Policy, applicable law, third-party rights or platform security requirements.
10. Removal after winning
Winning a competition round does not exempt advertising from this Policy.
Where advertising is suspended or removed because the advertiser has violated this Policy, applicable law or third-party rights, the advertiser will not automatically be entitled to a refund, replacement exposure or advertising credit. Any remedy will be determined in accordance with the Terms & Conditions, applicable law and the circumstances of the case.
The applicable Terms & Conditions will determine whether any refund, replacement exposure or advertising credit is available in such circumstances.
11. Licence to display advertising
By submitting advertising materials, the advertiser grants The Internet Throne the limited rights necessary to host, reproduce, resize and display those materials for the operation and promotion of the advertising service, subject to the Terms & Conditions.
12. No endorsement
The appearance or ranking of an advertiser on The Internet Throne does not constitute an endorsement, certification or recommendation by the platform.
Ranking reflects the operation of the competitive advertising mechanism.
13. Policy changes
This Advertising Policy may be updated to reflect changes to the platform, applicable law, payment provider requirements or advertising standards.
14. Reporting advertising
Users or rights holders who believe that advertising displayed on The Internet Throne violates this Policy, applicable law or their legal rights may report the advertising to the platform operator.
