1. About The Internet Throne

The Internet Throne is a competitive advertising platform through which advertisers may submit monetary bids for temporary premium advertising exposure on the website.

Participation does not constitute a lottery, raffle, prize draw or game of chance. Ranking is determined by monetary bids submitted under the rules described in these Terms.

2. The King

The advertiser currently occupying the premium advertising position is referred to as the "King".

The King receives the advertising visibility described on the platform, which may include a banner, company logo, company name, tagline and link to the advertiser's website.

3. Competition rounds

The platform operates in timed competition rounds. During a round, advertisers may submit challenges to the current King.

A challenge must satisfy the minimum bid displayed by the platform at the time the challenge is submitted.

A bid lower than or equal to the current King's qualifying bid cannot remove the King from the throne.

4. Leading Challenger

The advertiser with the highest valid challenge during an active round may be displayed as the "Leading Challenger".

Leading Challenger status is temporary and does not guarantee that the advertiser will become King. Another advertiser may submit a higher valid bid before the round ends.

5. Winning a round

When a round ends, the highest valid challenger whose bid exceeds the current King's qualifying bid is eligible to become the new King.

If no valid challenge exceeds the current King's bid, the current King remains on the throne.

6. Payment

Submitting a challenge does not by itself result in a completed charge.

The payment method associated with a challenge may be verified or authorised when the challenge is submitted. The winning amount is charged only if the advertiser wins the applicable round and becomes King.

Advertisers whose challenges are surpassed and who do not win the round are not charged the bid amount.

7. Failed payments

A winning position is conditional upon successful payment.

If the winning advertiser's payment cannot be completed, The Internet Throne may reject that bid and consider another eligible bid according to the platform rules.

8. Advertising content

Advertisers are responsible for the company names, logos, banners, links, slogans and other materials they submit.

All advertising is subject to the Advertising Policy. The Internet Throne may reject, suspend or remove advertising that violates applicable law, third-party rights or platform rules.

9. No endorsement

Ranking, King status and presence on The Internet Throne are advertising placements and do not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, certification or approval of an advertiser, its products or its services.

10. Advertiser websites

The platform may contain links to websites operated by advertisers or other third parties. The Internet Throne does not control those websites and is not responsible for their content, products, services or privacy practices.

11. Platform integrity

Manipulation of bids, fraudulent payment methods, impersonation, automated abuse or attempts to interfere with the ranking system are prohibited.

The Internet Throne may invalidate fraudulent or technically erroneous bids and suspend accounts where reasonably necessary to protect the platform.

12. Changes and technical interruptions

The Internet Throne may temporarily suspend or modify platform functionality where necessary for security, maintenance, fraud prevention or technical reasons.

Where a paid advertising placement cannot be provided due to a technical failure attributable to the platform, The Internet Throne may, where appropriate and subject to applicable law, provide a refund, payment reversal, advertising credit or other reasonable remedy depending on the circumstances.
